This Privacy Policy explains how The BizLaunch Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use TBLSoftwares.com and its products, including TBL Appraiser (the "Services").

1. What we collect

When you sign in to any TBLSoftwares product, we collect:

• Account identity — your email address, Google account identifier (sub), display name, and profile picture.
• Access state — whether your account is pending, granted, denied, expired, or revoked; who granted or changed it; and when.
• Audit log entries — a record of each access change for governance.
• Usage signals — sign-in and last-seen timestamps.

We do not collect your Google password, Gmail contents, calendar, data from other Google services, or biometric data.

2. What we store on your device (not our servers)

For TBL Appraiser, the following never leave your computer:

• Portfolio evidence downloads from SARD (PDFs, PPTX, DOCX).
• Generated appraiser comments.
• The appraisal-tracker.json state file per appraisee.
• Final appraisal record documents and draft guidance emails.

These files live in a folder on your local disk that you choose during first-run setup. We cannot read, transmit, or back them up. You are responsible for their security.

3. How we use your data

• To authenticate you and grant access to our Services.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. "Your access has been granted").
• To maintain an audit trail of administrative actions.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

• Contract: we process account identity to provide the Services you've requested.
• Legitimate interests: audit logs maintain Service integrity and security.
• Consent: transactional emails go only to people who have signed in.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

• Base44 — our application hosting platform.
• Google — via OAuth 2.0 Sign-In.
• Anthropic — your TBL Appraiser chat messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not train on API inputs by default.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

6. Retention

• Account records: duration of active access plus 12 months.
• Audit log entries: 6 years for governance compliance.
• Local appraisal content: under your control; we have no copy.

Request deletion anytime at hello@tblsoftwares.com. We delete within 30 days, preserving only the minimum required for legal audit trails.

7. Your rights (UK GDPR / DPA 2018)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, portability, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.

8. Security

• All data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
• Passwords and 2FA are handled by Google — we never see them.
• Account records are stored on Base44's UK / EU infrastructure.
• Local appraisal content is protected by your OS file permissions.

9. Children

The Services are not intended for users under 18.

10. International transfers

Anthropic's Claude API may process your messages in regions outside the UK / EEA. We rely on Anthropic's Standard Contractual Clauses and their published data processing terms.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and by banner on TBLSoftwares.com.
